Rotary International is a volunteer network that unites people around the world. It offers 7 different programs among which we find the Rotary Youth Exchange program.
The exchange program for Rotarians lasts 9 months, a full academic year, while there is also the option of leaving for only a few weeks. Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens.
Students interested must be between 15 and 19 years old and they need to be part of a Rotary Club. Rotary urges people with disabilities to participate in the program.
The exchange program offers 115 countries and geographic regions out of which students can choose from. Some of the most popular destinations are the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa, India, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Brazil, Germany, France, Belgium, Finland, Austria, Mexico, Philippines and Italy.

*This is the price to pay for the maintenance of Rotary's program. To this price, families have to add the rest of the costs -plane tickets, visa fees, medical insurance and emergency funds (which will be refunded to the family once the program is over)-. Therefore, price varies depending on the destination chosen by the student.
