Hi, my name is Bruna and I'm 17 years old. 2 years ago I went to England to study there year 11 (4th of ESO) . I lived there 11 months in a really small village called Horsley, I lived there with a Catalan host family, so I spoke Catalan at home and English at school; I went to school in Tetbury, the nearest town.
The hardest part of this experience was the beginning, the first days at school, I didn't know anyone, I didn't understand what people were saying to me and everyone spoke so fast; but I learned rapidly and I made lots of friends and had an amazing time. Schools there are different, for example they teach drama and catering which are really fun.
I really recommend this experience, in my opinion is the best thing that ever happened to me; knowing a new culture, is the best way to know a language, making lots of new friends and travelling a lot I visit them every summer.
