Exchange students opinions after studying abroad
The following charts have been made thanks to the results obtained from a survey answered by 37 exchange students from Spain and Germany. May 2017.
Where did you study?
For how long?
Where did you choose to stay?
What encouraged you the most to go on an exchange year?
What do you value the most after studying abroad?
Can you point out any disadvantage?
- Everyone has a different culture and religion so maybe people may have cultural shocks such as the people, foods, lifestyle, and etc.
- Perhaps you will not always agree with your host family. But it will not necessarily make your experience less good. It is like having a real family sometimes you do not agree with each other.
- It's good to have different subjects because you learn lots of new things but when you're back, it's difficult to catch up with your normal subjects.
- Once you've come back, all your friends have lived experiences together that you haven't.
